Here we show the sampling from 2012 to date, including 2591 photos for 25 oak species from 20 provinces in China.

24 populations of Quercus aliena Bl. (229 individuals) and 31 populations of Quercus dentata Thunb. (449 individuals) were included in our “Asymmetric character displacement in mixed oak stands” article (submitted).

29 populations of Quercus aquifolioides Rehder & E.H. Wilson (273individuals) were included in “Genetic, geographic, and climatic factors jointly shape leaf morphology of an alpine oak, Quercus aquifolioides Rehder & E.H. Wilson (Li et al., 2021)” article.

60 populations of Quercus aquifolioides Rehder & E.H. Wilson (587 individuals) were included in”Contrasted patterns of local adaptation to climate change across the range of an evergreen oak, Quercus aquifolioides (Du et al., 2020)” article.

7 populations of Quercus aliena Bl.  and 7 populations of Quercus dentata Thunb.,  a total of 367 individuals were included in “Geometric morphometric analyses of leaf shapes in two sympatric Chinese oaks: Quercus dentata Thunberg and Quercus aliena Blume (Fagaceae) (Liu et al., 2018)” article.

6 populations of Quercus aliena Bl. (207 individuals) and 3 populations of Quercus dentata Thunb.
